My Story

I'm taking part in the RM Commando 80 Challenge to help raise money for RMA - The Royal Marines Charity.

on 6/7 July, as part of a team from Royal Marines Reserve London, I will attempt to complete a 56 mile 'yomp' from Windsor to the Cuty of London - this is the same distance covered by Royal Marines from San Carlos Water to Port Stanley during the Falklands War in 1982, 40 years ago. While they conducted this epic march over horrendous terrain with heavy bergens and under enemy fire, our walk along the Thames will be rather less arduous. We hope to raise money to support the Royal Marines Charity which is there for the needs of Royal Marines and their families, helping them to overcome their own challenges, including life changing injury, life limiting illness and mental ill-health sustained on operations all over the globe.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and please help these Royal Marines reach their fundraising goal.
