My Story
I am the chairman of the RMA Gig Club. The Clubs challenge is to row a distance of 750 kilometres (466 miles) by 28th October. This will be the total of all training sessions, regattas, and distance rows done in both Trafalgar and Cockleshell. This will mean some long rows to achieve the target. This could take the form of 75 minutes non stop rows, relay rows for up to 7.5 hours or simply rowing both boats up the River Tamar or to the Rame Peninsula on a monthly basis. Something a bit different from a our normal training session and certainly a challenge at this time due to Covid-19 and in influx of new members. Please support this challenge with a small donation which goes directly to the RMA-The Royal Marines Charity. THANK YOU.
